Born and raised in Hangzhou, China, now in St. Louis, U.S.
I was born and raised in Hangzhou, one of the most beautiful cities in China (or should I say in the whole world). I spent my formative years in Hangzhou Foreign Lauguage School, one of the oldest and most renowned foreign language schools in China. Later, I was lucky enough to get into Shanghai International Studies University, one of the top two language institutes in China without taking the College Matriculation Exams. I was able to continue to follow my passion for the English language there and also found my new passion: Economics. I worked briefly in the business world as a tax consultant before making the decision to pursue a graduate degree in Economics here in the United States.
Currently, I am about to finish my PhD degree in Economics in Washingtion University in St Louis. I hope to land a job where I can apply my working knowledge of the field of Economics and/or research abilities.
